After researching and talking with a lot of people along the way, we have finally combined what we learned about language and Minecraft in a nice little presentation so you can find all the information at the same place. It was a truly interesting and passioning subject and I really hope I will get the opportunity of using that knowledge in a classroom really soon.
In the presentation
You can find in it the pros and cons discussed in my last blog, but also the ways you can implement Minecraft in your own classroom. We created a mini-unit plan to make it more actionable for you, and you can also find a couple of suggestions to vary your work in Minecraft with your classroom. Finally, there is a short list of best practice so you feel ready to tackle this new learning opportunity with your class!
I also want to thank Heidi James and her students and Minecraft EDU for sharing their knowledge (you can see the whole thread here).
